It has completed an engine integrity test and a static fire. The first flight is planned for a different rocket model, but it will be different.
Golden Hornet – the successor to the Yellow Jacket rocket – will feature a larger diameter. Unlike its predecessor, it will have one engine instead of four, prioritizing simplicity and reliability. Additionally, a better material will be used for the wings, which will now include one extra wing. In this configuration, the rocket will have four wings, but unlike the Yellow Jacket, they won't be static—this is another major improvement. These wings will be maneuverable thanks to new servo motors on board. Out of the four wings, only two side wings will be computer-controlled, while the remaining two can be manually adjusted. Additional upgrades include a camera, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and an altimeter. The nose of the rocket will also be improved. A parachute for a safe return will be stored underneath, but now, the nose will be split into two parts and open via a servo motor, enhancing deployment efficiency.
